Functional re-organization of brain functions through sequential movements patterns based on primary reflexes. The central nervous system is mostly shaped during the first 9-12 months of life.

Sensory-Motor Neurological Re-organization of Brain Functions

This intervention addresses the development of functions of the central nervous system relating to learning efficiency and emotional self-regulation that are primarily shaped during the first 12 months of life.

The central nervous system (CNS) develops by steps: from the lower level of the brainstem through the reticular activating system before reaching the higher brain centers called the cortex and the pre-cortex.

This intervention considers the sensory-motor functions of the (CNS) that should be in place from birth to seven-years-old (grade two) in order to become an efficient learner with emotional self-regulation.

It looks at the sensory “input” of information coming from the visual, auditory, and tactile pathways in order to yield motor “output” in the manual, language, and mobility pathways.

Sensory-motor neurological re-organization of brain functions is done through sequential movement patterns based on primary reflexes.

Reflexes are in place from conception and they should integrate in the first year of life to give place to more mature neurological functions leading to overall brain efficiency.
